The Higher Education\u00a0Commission (HEC) is launching the\u00a0Innovator Seed Fund (ISF)<\/a>\u00a0to\u00a0accelerate the economic engine of the country through entrepreneurship. ISF is a\u00a0competitive\u00a0grant fund\u00a0that will provide:<\/p>\n

• \u200bUp to\u00a0$35,000<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0grant-based\u00a0seed funding\u00a0to promising early-stage startups.<\/li>\n
• A complete suite of\u00a0incubation & post-incubation services<\/strong>\u00a0to the startups\u00a0through university Business Incubation Centers across Pakistan.<\/li>\n
• Investor showcasing\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0funding connections<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Starting in October 2021<\/strong>, ISF will award grants to\u00a015 startups annually<\/strong>, with a significant proportion of grants to be awarded to\u00a0female founders<\/strong>. Further details on the fund are available\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
