{"id":7754,"date":"2019-08-24T06:53:52","date_gmt":"2019-08-24T06:53:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cewre.edu.pk\/web\/?p=7754"},"modified":"2019-12-31T03:18:12","modified_gmt":"2019-12-31T03:18:12","slug":"kashmir-solidarity-day-at-cewre-uet-lahore-august-05-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/cewre.edu.pk\/web\/2019\/08\/24\/kashmir-solidarity-day-at-cewre-uet-lahore-august-05-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Kashmir Solidarity Day at CEWRE UET Lahore August, 05 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"fontstyle0\">The Centre of Excellence in Water Resource Engineering, UET Lahore has observed the Kashmir<br \/>\nSolidarity Day on August 05, 2019 (Monday), with a pledge to continue extending all possible support<br \/>\nto the people of Indian-held Kashmir, who have been struggling for their legitimate right of self determination more than seven decades.<br \/>\nThe day has been observed all over Pakistan at a time when Indian atrocities in held Kashmir and LOC<br \/>\nhave reached a new level of oppression and human rights violations, to suppress the indigenous freedom<br \/>\nmovement against the subjugating forces.<br \/>\nThe faculty members, staff and students of the Center gathered in seminar hall of the CEWRE to show<br \/>\nsolidarity with oppressed Kashmiri brethren. After Tilawat-e-Quran and National Anthem, one-minute<br \/>\nsilence was observed at 10.00 am to pay homage to the martyrs of the liberation struggle of occupied<br \/>\nKashmir. Later Prof. Dr. Noor M Khan, Director CEWRE highlighted the significance of Kashmir for<br \/>\nMuslims and Pakistanis, and renewed the resolve that Pakistanis will stand shoulder to shoulder with<br \/>\nKashmiris in their struggle to get their democratic right of self determination.
