The Model Tray (MT) Hall of CEWRE is a unique lab facility which is not offered by any other academic institute of Punjab province. MT Hall deals with the construction of physical models which are effective in improving safety, reducing construction costs, and optimizing the hydraulic performance of a wide array of existing and proposed hydraulic structures. MT Hall can achieve flow rates up to 04 cfs. With 9500 Ft2 of modelling floor space, we can accommodate all kind of physical models.

Physical Models constructed at the MT Hall

  • Spillways
  • Energy dissipation
  • River training works
  • Canal Falls
  • Irrigation Outlets
  • Road Bridges and Culverts
  • Miscellaneous scale models of other hydraulic appurtenances

Hydraulic Services available at the MT Hall

  • Calibration of Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP)
  • Calibration of Current Meters
  • Scale-down Physical Modeling
