Engr. Muhammad Awais Zafar

Engr. Muhammad Awais Zafar has experienced of working in multiple projects at national and international organizations. Currently he is working as lecturer at Centre and delivered consultancies, human resource development trainings, organized national and international conferences and seminars, teaching and research publications. Prior to joining Centre, he served in Mott MacDonald Pakistan (MMP) on Punjab Irrigated-Agriculture Productivity Improvement Project (PIPIP) and in Project Implementation Unit-Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PIU-PDMA), Punjab on Flood Emergency Reconstruction and Resilience Project (FERRP). He worked in International Water Management Institute (IWMI), Lahore Office on Indus Telemetry component of Water Management for Enhanced Productivity (WMfEP) project and in Abdullah Ahmad & Co. (Pvt) Ltd. Lahore on Canal Monitoring Instrument Installation at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province (Indus Telemetry Phase-II) under WMfEP project (funded by USAID). Overall, he has professional experience of teaching and research, project management, hydrological and hydraulic modeling (rainfall runoff modeling, snowmelt runoff modeling, flood modeling, hydraulic analysis of structure, sediment modeling, river water quality modeling), groundwater modeling, flow measurement techniques (conventional methods) and hydrometric instrumentation (acoustic doppler current profiler (ADCP), CTD-Diver).
